About Kronberg Jewellery
I am Simone Kronberg, the designer and jeweller behind Kronberg Jewellery. Following the jewellery from my first inspiration, to developing and honing the idea, hand picking the precious stones and diamonds and finally making the piece and seeing the joy it brings the receiver, is a process I hold in high esteem.
Every piece of Kronberg Jewellery is hand made. My company and jewellery has an impact on this earth, a responsibility I take seriously – I am aware of the environmental impact of overproduction and i want to eliminate this to the best of my ability. Therefore, only a select few pieces are in stock for immediate purchase while other commissions are made to order. This ensures less waste of the earth’s amazing resources of precious metals and gems. It is critical to Kronberg Jewellery that the precious materials used to craft my jewellery are mined and refined in villages with humane work and living conditions. I choose to work with ethical and socially responsible suppliers of silver, gold, diamonds and precious metals.
Despite the financial gain which would be realised through the outsourcing the manufacturing process, I choose to retain the craftsmanship in house. Jewellery is my passion and my dream and truly I love getting to make each and every piece. By retaining full responsibility for the production and supply chain, I ensure that each piece of jewellery is crafted with care, consideration and to Kronberg Jewellery’s highest standards of ethical quality and design.
These four pillars – valuing our precious and limited resources, being mindful of the environment, treating people with respect and ensuring quality in every step – are the foundation of Kronberg Jewellery.
